Warm feet, warm hearts
Established 2015
Help us bring comfort, dignity, and warmth to our neighbors in need.
Every year, we collect and distribute socks to people experiencing homelessness through our network of local volunteer organizations. Clean socks are one of the most requested items in shelters and outreach programs, yet they are often one of the least donated. They help prevent infection, reduce injury, and provide much needed comfort for individuals who spend long hours on their feet.
Last year, thanks to the generosity of our community, we collected 5,000 pairs of socks. This year, we are aiming even higher. Your donation directly funds the purchase of new, high quality socks that will be delivered to partner organizations throughout the city.
Your contribution makes a direct impact.
Ten dollars helps us purchase 10 pairs
Twenty five dollars helps us support an entire outreach group
Any amount helps us get closer to our goal
Every dollar becomes socks in the hands of someone who needs them.
Thank you for supporting our mission and helping us provide dignity, comfort, and care to our community. Make your donation below and be part of this year’s impact.
Why Socks?
Socks are the most requested item in homeless shelters because they are essential for foot health and basic comfort. They protect against infection, blisters, cold weather, and skin injury, which is especially important for people who walk long distances every day and often cannot access regular laundry or clean water.
Clean socks help prevent fungal infections, keep feet warm and dry, reduce blisters, and support overall hygiene. For someone without stable shelter, a fresh pair of socks can make a real difference in comfort and mobility.
The need is constant. Socks wear out quickly from daily miles on foot, and washing them is not always possible. Although they are the most requested item in shelters, they are one of the least donated, which is why new socks matter so much for the health and dignity of people experiencing homelessness.
Our Promise
Since 2015, the transportation and logistics organizations of Jacksonville have worked together to help shelters throughout the region with this much needed aid. We work year-round gathering resources to donate each winter, making a large impact with your help.
